The project professionals at AIMS GROUP have experience working on projects with various funding sources. AIMS has worked on projects funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP), the Louisiana State Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA), and various tax credits including the New Market Tax Credits, State and Federal Historic Tax Credits, Enterprise Zone Tax Credits, Energy Tax Credits, and Property Assessment Clean Energy Bonds. Listed here is a limited sample of AIMS Group’s more recent projects.

AIMS GROUP was tasked to prepare the Analysis, Plans and Specifications to bring hurricane protection to Bayou Segnette State Park. The project scope included design and construction of 8500 feet of floodwall, 4 flood gates, 2 pedestrian gates, new drain piping, valve box, an asphalt parking area, a wooden bridge access to swimming area, an asphalt access roadway, and the design and installation of new steel swing gates.

AIMS GROUP performed a levee safety Periodic Inspection for East and West Bank HSDRRS Levee that included 194 miles of levees and floodwalls, 54 pump stations, and 31 drainage structures for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. AIMS GROUP coordinated with the various levee districts and provided all information, along with overall levee ratings, and presented its finding to the Corps of Engineers during a formal out-brief presentations to close out the Periodic Inspection.

AIMS GROUP provided pre-demolition asbestos inspection services for approximately 7,000 structures throughout St. Bernard Parish following Hurricane Katrina. AIMS’ staff was responsible for meeting with LDEQ and OSHA representatives to develop the sampling strategy that was utilized. AIMS’ reviewed all analytical data and prepared daily reports for the structures inspected that included a summary of asbestos-containing materials.
